Amanda watched this pattern repeat over and over again, so she founded Finally Get Your Book Done to remove every obstacle standing between an author and a finished book.
Finally Get Your Book Done exists to solve for every roadblock that keeps a book from getting written — the time, the doubt, the blank page. We developed our team with the wisdom and experience that only comes from having done it yourself.
Every writer on our roster is selected with the same care as the words on the page.

It started in fourth grade, when Amanda broke the California state record for most blue books used on the state writing exam. She hasn't stopped writing since — through speeches, newsrooms, and a traditionally published book — until she found the process worth building a company around.

The turning point
Why live, and not edited.
After her book came out, something unexpected started happening: people began asking Amanda to help write theirs. She started the way most writers do, editing drafts and sending back notes. Writing and feedback happening apart costs something, especially for a story this personal, and authors began to feel like students instead of collaborators.
People stopped feeling edited and started feeling heard.
So Amanda moved the entire process onto a Zoom call. She asked the questions. The client talked, and Amanda wrote every sentence live, reading each line back before moving to the next. People stopped feeling edited and started feeling heard. That shift became the foundation of Finally Get Your Book Done.
